Non-linear Campaign

A very interesting part I worked on with colleagues was the single-player campaign. Its progression is non-linear: the player accesses "industry magazines" dedicated to very different types of motorbikes.

This system, based on Volumes, lets the player collect and read more than 50 magazines and take part in the races and competitions they contain. Several parts of the campaign can be advanced at the same time, on very different tracks and motorbikes. The result is a loop that is much less repetitive and gives an all-round view of the world of bikes.

The first part of the video below shows how the campaign works, plus some single-player gameplay.
